It has been far too long since I've made any social media updates. The past couple of years have been absolute insanity and have taken me away from my ability to create while I dealt with massive life problems. I will be working to slowly rekindle my creative fire this year. Lots of changes to come.... Rebranding with a new logo (oh so fresh), new focus on original artworks, moving my shop from Etsy to my personal website, and new creative categories to explore including illustration, painting and cosplay. This is the short and sweet of it, but keep reading for the juicy details.

Painting the face on with artist quality acrylics. After he’s dried for a few days, the painted parts will be varnished for UV protection and durability. Almost done with this guy I’m so excited!

Little guy has a full set of clothes now! Minus shoelaces and shirt buttons, that is. Those will be added soon. Onto the face and Hair!

Keep forgetting I need to post here! Been working on this guy for a few weeks, he’s a brand new pattern that combines two of my older human type patterns with a few new elements. Stands on his own at 24 in. Tall! This particular doll is a commission, but you can bet this pattern will be available for customs when he’s finished!

Finally getting back into some custom plush orders, and starting off with a bang! I really enjoyed how Red XIII turned out. I had made one once before a few years back, and it's fun to see my personal improvement. Very proud of this guy <3 He's a good size at about 12 inches long and is lightly stuffed so he remains cuddly. I was inspired mostly by the "Advent Children" version of him, and wanted him to remain true to his looks but also keep him looking teddy-like with a welcoming cuddly appearance. His base patterns is one of my favorites, and also one of my customers' favorites! Hello everyone! 2018 is finally here so...let's just, sweep the remains of 2017 under the rug and forget it ever existed, yes? ....yes....

I have finally finished every last one of my commission orders, and December was filled with the usual slew of holiday get togethers. SO. I do think I will be taking a longer, indefinite break from commissions to work on personal projects. The good news is this means I can finally stock my Etsy shop with premades like I have wanted to do for.....years....yay!

I do still have some open price quote discussions with a number of people, I am still working on getting back to you <3 It takes a good chunk of time for me to sit down and accurately pinpoint a price, especially for newly patterned things. So thank you for waiting on me! But beginning today, I will no longer be open for price quote discussions until I am ready for new orders.

Simple I know. But I love to over complicate things. Anyway these deer are going to have large, ornate antlers. I plan to make a deeper chested more masculine form, as well as the mask faced variety. Not so sure about the Cervitaur design....thoughts?

Here's the progress of the prototyping.

Working on a new breed in my "Sparklepups" collection - the Scenedog! Scenedogs have longer bodies and legs, and will have more gothy make up, with sadder expressions. So scene. This one is a bit..headless at the moment. But soooooon!

The detailing continues. Cheeks full of whiskers and getting those spots painted on. So many spots...

So this is the really fun part. I added just a touch of base color to blend her fur colors together...

Then I finally started applying her spots. Really bringing out her character! I feel like it's a she :)
