The head and face begins to emerge from the fluff!... Here's the difference between the trimmed side and the untrimmed side. Details start to really pop out. After trims this guy will get some thread sculpting as well before I apply the dyes...

I've been working on the paws of this big cat. Happy to show some progress! He will have realistic faux leather paw pads that appropriately are soft and squishy to touch. Needs a bit more trimming and detail work, but well on it's way in this photo! These paws also have retractable plushie claws! Again, more finishing details needed but you can see it coming along nicely.
So the leopard has a tail now, but I can't help wondering if it might look better in a longer fur fabric... I simulated a longer fur tail here. I think I personally like it this way more, but I am a fan of big, poofy tails. I think I will leave this up to the commissioner!
Got the main body sewn up! 3 different kinds of fur used. Next I will sew the tummy on to give this guy some depth, and then I think I'll work on the tail.
Epic Snow Leopard Plush BeginsIt's been a long while since I last updated! I've been playing catch up on orders since I moved, got sick about 5 times, had a kidney stone, and other life changes. It's been a rough ride, but I'm looking forward to plushing a lifesize realistic snow leopard! Felt I needed to document this beast as it comes to life. It all begins with a sketch... Then I design the pattern based on the sketch. This is my biggest pattern yet! Ready to cut into some beautiful (expensive) faux fur... Stay tuned for updates. This one is coming along greatly! Should have him finished by the end of the day. Will be doing some surface detailing with markers and trims to really bring out this guy's character.
Just lookit' his face. He means business. This one's all done! Pretty spiffed up photos from the photoshoot will be up this week!
Pile of floof! This one will be a dark Lion. They sure do look different all deflated without stuffins. Aiming to have this one done later today if my arthritic knuckles will behave.
Progress shot of my most recent plush in progress for a commission. A female cat anthro doll. I'm liking how it's coming out. That torso was a bit of a challenge, especially with the breasts since I wanted to find a better way to make the breasts look like they are attached more naturally rather than just blobs stuck onto a surface. The wider torso works with this one's style I think, but for my personal preference I think I'll make a thinner, more lithe body on my own creations. I am digging the big paws though :)
A trio of teddies here! All gruesomely headless at the moment. But these are going to be adorable with super stylized teddy faces and lots of clothes :) Can't wait to get these finished up!
