Just heard something like this on a quilting show:
"You should not be trying to make your art perfect, rather you should be discovering through the creative process that you already are good enough."
I loved it and found it very inspirational :) I think a lot of times as artists it is very easy for us to overthink all the details and constantly compare ourselves with the competition. But if we just stop and be who we are, drawing from our own unique set of life experiences, then we will create something perfectly imperfect and totally one of a kind.
What message do you get from it?
